The U.S. Airlines and the U.S. Government are constantly in a
world of uncertainty solely for the reason of fuel supply. The
United States hasn't built an oil refinery in 30 years. Many
existing refineries have also been either restricted with
legislation, or shutdown all together. At the same time fuel
demand has increase dramatically over the past 30 years. The
result is a limited supply of transportation fuel and high fuel
prices.

What if all the U.S. Airlines and the U.S. Government came
together and formed a non-profit jet fuel company?
Separating the U.S. into eight sectors, each sector would have
its own refinery infrastructure, and distribution system. This
strategy would lessen the pressure on the consumer supply,
while widening margins within the Airlines financial statements.
All profits made by the non-profit fuel company would be
divided equally among the participating Airlines.
