Sometimes organizations get caught up

thrown out the window.  A good CEO

Learn how Andrew Jackson hated paper money because of its
artificial inflation, and favored state banks over a national bank.
You might even say Jackson predicted the financial crisis of
2008.  Andrew Jackson was the only President to pay off the
national debt.

When Abraham Lincoln first ran for the U.S. Congress in 1858,
he directly confronted the slavery issue.  He made a famous
speech which outlined America as a house divided by slavery.
"You can't have it both ways, you either believe in slavery or you
don't.  A house divided will not stand."

When Lincoln was elected to the Presidency in March of 1861,
the southern states seceded from the north and the Civil War
began one month later.

Nobel Prize winner, Libertarian economist Milton Friedman,
introduced in the 1960s an alternative macroeconomic
policy called "monetarism".  He theorized there existed a
"natural rate of unemployment" and he argued the central
government could not micromanage the economy because
people would realize what the government was doing and
shift their behavior to neutralize the impact of policies.
